Asia Society Korea Center
The Korea Center supports the global mission of Asia Society in (4) four ways: First, as a high-profile medium for Northeast Asian collaboration and exchange; second, as a universal platform for U.S.-Northeast Asian dialogue; third, as an active gateway for engagement into the cultural, political, business, social, and technological issues that affect Korea, the U.S. and its partners worldwide; and fourth, as a catalyst to promote a shared future in between Asians and Americans.
In this connection, the Korea Center plans to hold a variety of activities and events such as:
● Conferences, seminars, discussions, panels, and events on various social, political, business, culture or media issues that affect Korea, Asia, the U.S., and its global partners.
● Receptions, lunches, and dinners highlighting specific issues.
● Special exhibitions of traditional and contemporary Korean Art.
● Special lecture series given by key academics and authors on various issues pertinent to Korea and Asia.
● Cultural performances of traditional Korean music and dance.
● Screening feature films and documentaries that focus on Korea and Northeast Asia.
