Taebaeksan Mountain Snow Festival, 18 Jan-3 Feb 2019, Taebaek, Gangwon-do


 
DATE: Friday 18 January - Sunday 03 February 2019
COST: Free admission - fees charged for some activities/events
VENUE: Taebaeksan National Park and Hwawngji Pond, Taebaek, Gangwon-do

DESCRIPTION: Visitors to the festival will enjoy a wide variety of amusement facilities including s a snow tunnel, slide and rafting areas, as well as snow and ice sculptures, a light & ice festival, and more. Note that the weather will determine the range of activities/events on offer.
Performance Times - 11:30-15:30 (Only on weekends during festival period)

DIRECTIONS: From Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, take an intercity bus to Taebaek. From Taebaek Bus Terminal, take a bus bound for Danggol and get off at Taebaeksan Provincial Park.  Hwangji Pond (황지연못) is a 10-min walk from the Taebaek Bus Terminal.
