DESCRIPTION: From the legend of Dangun to the Korean War, stopping by all the adventures of western missionaries, let yourself be immersed in the story of Korea told live on a whiteboard as Pr. Henny Savenije draws us all the major historical facts about Korea. Pr. Savenije has more than 20 years of experience in teaching at universities and lecturing in various seminars. Among many varied endeavors, Korean peninsula has been one of his favorite subjects that drew his curiosity and passion ever since adolescence. Lectures conducted in English.
April 12 The legend of Dangun
April 26 The four kingdoms
May 10 The unification of kingdoms and Joseon Dynasty
May 24 End of Joseon Dynasty, and the invasions from the outside world
June 14 Liberation, beginning of democracy, the Korean War
June 28 Korean War until the present
OFFLINE/ONLINE: Space for in-person participation is limited to 6 people on a first-come-first-served. Lecture will be broadcast via zoom if registration exceeds the 6 people maximum.

3. Line 4 Isu station, Stop 432, Exit 1, transfer to local bus (green bus) 13, get off at Seorae Village (or Namoo dental clinic).
