If you're familiar with the metric system, Korea will be a breeze. However, if you're from a country that has not yet gone metric, the following charts should help. Korean ovens are generally gas rather than electric. The metric system is used for almost everything here, except fabric lengths, which are generally measured in yards. The traditional housing measurement of pyong is also being replaced by metric measurements.
