Cat Rescue and Adoption

Following are cat rescue organisations that have information in English and foreign volunteers. Most are funded through donations including fees collected through adoption charges and surrender fees. There is also KOPC (Korea Organization for the Protection of Cats) that as a Korean-language Cafe Dau m site with adoptable cat listings.
CATS (Cats Assistance in Transitional Shelter), Whiskers Ministop is a small private cat shelter and rehoming team in Yongsan, Seoul. For more details regarding policy and adoption application form, etc. see here. For more information email whiskersministop@gmail.com.
KAPS Daegu Cat Shelter (Korea Animal Protection Society) operates a shelter specifically for cats (and another for dogs). For more information or to volunteer contact KAPS.volunteering@gmail.com or KAPS.Adoption@gmail.com / KAPS.Fostering@gmail.com.
NABIYA is located in Itaewon and is a fostering home for rescued/abandoned cats. It is operated by volunteers and funded through donations and fundraising. While the word 'nabi' means butterfly in Korean, it is also a term of endearment for cats. Abandoned cats are fostered with Nabiya until a permanent home can be found.
