Medi Flower Natural Birthing Center, Seocho, Seoul
A Natural Birthing Center, Medi Flower, espouses the HypnoBirthing philosophy, a natural birthing method launched by Mrs. Marie F. Mongan in the US, and the natural birth philosophy of Dr. Chung Hwan-wook.
Dr. Chung and Dr. Park, OB/GYN, and associated midwives help expat pregnant women and their families to experience a natural birth in a place where they feel comfortable by empowering women’s instinct of maternal love and childbirth. Even high-risk mothers having a breech baby or those who had cesarean section for the former birth can give a birth in completely natural ways and surprisingly, the cesarean section rate has been under 15%.
Medi Flower Natural Birthing Center takes care of your prenatal cares, birth, and postpartum and newborn cares based on the natural birthing method in a safe and professional way.
To provide the best services, we combined the advantages of both hospital birthing and home birthing. We proudly announce you that we have quality medical systems and facilities for both mothers and newborn babies. The midwife stays with you during labor and birth and the doctors also participate in your labor care and birth acting as a backup. Should a cesarean birth be necessary, it can be performed in our clinic with your husband present or you can be transferred to a large general hospital of your choice (St.Mary’s hospital, Soon Chun Hyang University hospital, Cha hospital etc.) within 30 minutes under the special evacuation contract between Medi Flower Natural Birthing Center and the big hospitals. Following the birth, we also offer care coordination for the growth and health care of the babies.
