Coming from another country and trying to find the right dental services for you and your family is not always an easy task. From my experience, Dr.Choi & Associates Dental Clinic in Hannam-dong (next to Itaewon) has been a real find for me  Not only do they have 15 years experience serving expats from around the world, they have also developed a specialty working with children, who are treated by the on-staff pedodontist, Dr. Yun-Joo LEE.

Dr. Kyung-Myung CHOI set up his private practice on January 20th, 1966 and is celebrating 44 years of a successful and growing practice this year.  A US military general, who visited the offices of Dr. Choi & Associates, was so impressed with the quality of service he received in English, he suggested they submit to a special evaluation. The clinic successfully passed the highest military standards of sterilization and procedures; and to this day, have maintained their association with the Tricare Dental Program (from the United Columbia group of companies based in the United States).
 
Associates refers to a select group of English speaking specialists that come to the office on specific days to assist in offering treatments ranging from prevention of tooth decay to reconstructive or cosmetic surgery and only as a last resort, extractions and implants. It’s been my experience for the past 6 years, as a client of Dr.Choi & Associates Dental Clinic,  that care and a lot of patience and consideration is associated with every intervention… and I have had my fair share of dental work. They have always paid  attention to my concerns and answered my questions. And a key point for me,  every specialist in this clinic is committed to the preservation of your teeth utilizing minimal invasive procedures.

Last year, Dr Choi & Associates added the services of a pedodontist (a dentist specializing in children’s dental care) and installed a small video screen that shows animated movies for children to watch during their treatment time. This also speaks well about the care they take to ensure patients are comfortable and their needs addressed.

And, from my point of view, they're having an in-office laboratory certainly ensures a patient's satisfaction for high-quality dental laboratory work -crowns and prosthetics made under the charge of the dentist, continuously communicating with the technician is a definite plus.

I've been very happy with Dr. Choi and the other dental specials at Dr. Choi & Associates, for the past 6 years and I know you will be as well.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I'm coming to Korea in June and will need a lot of dental work done. Good to know that I have a proven resource there.
