Chabad of Seoul
Prior to April 2008, the only location for Jewish services was on the US military base in Yongsan if there was a rabbi available. However, there is now a Chabad located in Itaewon. Rabbi Litzman can be reached via rabbi@jewish.kr.
Jews living outside Seoul can also contact Rabbi Litzman for information on possible services in their area of Korea.
Yongsan Army Base Jewish Service
Civilians are welcome to attend Jewish services on Friday nights. You don't have to be "officially" Jewish to attend. Be at gate 10 (near Noksapyung station) around 6.45pm on Friday nights, with 2 forms of government ID, and you will be able to attend. The service is half in English and half in Hebrew with a dinner following. For more information, contact the chaplain - Rabbi Shulman (a.shulman@ymail.com).
