Sungbuk-gu Centers    

The various district offices in Seoul operate community centers that provide a number of services for the community including in some locations, swimming pools, gyms, various kinds of fitness, arts & crafts, cooking, etc. classes, rental facilities, and lots more. 

Foreign residents can use the services provided, however the information provided is generally in Korean-only. In some centers, you may find staff who can speak English and who are willing to explain what's on offer. Classes will be conducted in Korean.

Access to a number of city programe are also available through the district community centers.


SUNGBUK-GU COMMUNITY CENTER
(Korean: Sungbuk-gu Goomin HoeGwan 성북구 구민 회관)

Location: 606-275 Donam-Dong, Sungbuk-gu, Seoul
Directions:
Subway – Exit gate 6 of Hansung Univ. Station (stop 419) and take local bus 01
Wolgok, Jangwi-dong districts – Take bus 1111, take off at Samseon-gyo and take local bus 01

Facilities: Fitness Center , Reading Room, Great Hall

Programs: Stretching, Fitness Club

Rental Costs:
Great Hall – 180,000 won for each of use (3 Hours)
(Additional 60,000 won for each hour of use)
Additional Cost – Vim Projectors, Projectors (20,000 won)

SUNGBUK-GU SPORTS CENTER 
(Korean: Sungbuk-gumin Cheyukgwan 성북 구민 체육관)

Location: 2-1 Hawolgok-dong, Sungbuk-gu, Seoul
Directions:
Subway: Wolgok Station (stop 641) exit 2 or 3 → Dongduk Women’s Univ. five-way front gate → Take the road on the left side of Dongduk Women’s Univ. → Milestone for Sungbuk Sports Center in 150m → Sungbuk Sports Center about 70m ahead. 
Buses – 163, 1113, 1114, 1117, 1411, 1217, 1219, 1220, 211

Facilities: Gym / Fitness Center / Soccer Pitch / Table Tennis / Tennis Court

Programs: Sports & Culture, Soccer Classes, Gym Programs, Hobby Classes
