DAEGU
Daegu Modern History Museum 대구근대역사관
Hours: April thru October 9:00 to 19:00 / November thru March 9:00 to 18:00
Closed: Mondays
Permanent Exhibits: Classified into six categories, exhibits include stones from the Daegu Fortress,  postcards, documents, household items, and a rickshaw from the Japanese c o l o n i a l   p e r i o d .  On exhibit also is a miniature of the Gyeongsang-gamyeong Governor's Office.
Location: opposite the Jungbu Police Station. Map available on website.

Daegu National Museum  국립대구박물관
Hours: 9:00 to 18:00 Tues-Fri / 9:00 to 21:00 Sat / 9:00to 19:00 Sun & Holidays
Closed: Mondays and January 1st
Admission: Free admission for permanent exhibits / special exhibits may have a fee on occasion
Facilities: include a variety of theme areas including areas for children and hands-on activities and traditional craft workshops.
Guided tours: sometimes available in English; take about 40-50 minutes. Go to Docent's room to see if there is an English-speaking (or Japanese) docent available.

Daegu Art Museum  대구미술관
Hours: April thru October 10:00 to 19:00 / November thru March 10:00 to 18:00
Closed: Mondays, Jan. 1st, Lunar New Year's & Chuseok (Lunar Thanksgiving)

Admission: 700 won (individuls) 500 won per person (groups of 20 or more)

Directions: Take bus 604, 849-1, 849, or 403.  Get off at the stop for Daegue Art Museum (in Korean: “Daegu Misoolgwan” - 대구미술관 )

JEONJU
Jeonju National Museum 전주박물관
Hours: - Weekdays | 09:00~18:00 / Weekends and holidays | 09:00~19:00 (NB: March through October Saturday hours 09:00~21:00)
Closed Mondays and 1 January. (The garden is open on Mondays.) If a Monday happens to be a public holiday, the museum closes on the first weekday after the holiday.
