Opportunities to lean traditional Koren music:

Korean Traditional Music Classes
are offered in the Fall and Spring by the National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts, as of July 2010 renamed National Gugak Center.

The classes are held on Saturday mornings (10:30 to 12:30) for 12 weeks for W30,000 (covers the entire 12-week course).

Instruments taught include the janggu (hourglass-shaped drum), the gayageum (12-stringed zither),and the danso (vertical bamboo flute).
