Jungrang-gu Centers    

The various district offices in Seoul operate community centers that provide a number of services for the community including in some locations, swimming pools, gyms, various kinds of fitness, arts & crafts, cooking, etc. classes, rental facilities, and lots more. 

Foreign residents can use the services provided, however the information provided is generally in Korean-only. In some centers, you may find staff who can speak English and who are willing to explain what's on offer. Classes will be conducted in Korean.

Access to a number of city programe are also available through the district community centers.

JUNGRANG-GU SPORT CENTER
(Korean: Jungrang-gu Gumin Sport Center 중랑 구민 체육센터)

Location: 22 Muk 1dong, Jungrang-gu, Seoul

Directions:
Subway – get off at Bonghwa Mountain Station, Exit 4 (line 6), go straight passing a post office, and turn right at a branch road then again go straight, passing a library.

Buses – 2113, 2012, 1122, 2234

Facilities:
B1 – Parking Place, Swimming pool, Shower room
F1 – Information Desk, Fitness Club, Shower room, Aerobic room
F2 – Multipurpose Gym

Programs for member: Swimming/Fitness Club/Aerobic/Yoga/Salsa & Jazz Dance, Valley Dance/Badminton

Programs available for non-member: Swimming/Fitness Club/Badminton

Swimming pool opens for non-member from 1pm to 1:50pm on weekdays, on Saturday from 1pm to 1:50pm, 3:30pm to 4:50pm, and 7pm to 8:20pm, on Sunday from 9:30am to 11:30am, 12:30pm to 2:30pm and 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
Cost for one-day swimming for non-member is 3,700won for adult, 2,700won for youth, 2,200won for Child on weekdays.
Cost for one-day swimming for non-member is 4,300won for adult, 3,300won for youth, 2,600won for Child on weekdays.

Fitness Club opens for non-member from 6am to 9pm on Saturday, 9am to 5pm on Sunday.
Cost for one-day fitness club is 2,500won for adult, 1,800won for youth.

Badminton court opens for non-member from 6am to 8am, 10am to 12pm and 7pm to 9pm on Saturday.
Cost for one-day badminton is 2,800won for adult, 1,900won for youth, 1,500won for child.
