Following are some of the hospitals in the Seoul area that have an international clinic on-site. The doctor(s) will have studied abroad and will usually speak English. However, the support and nursing staff may not. Hospitals sometimes charge a premium for their services (tests and care) when you go through the international clinic. You may also want to check out hospitals near you since many hospitals without international clinics also have English-speaking staff, some of whom have also studied abroad. Note: It is possible that the hours may have changed since this notice was put up, so please call the clinic before going, especially on weekends.

Yonsei Severance Hospital

International Clinic: 02-361-6540. A separate medical center for foreigners within the complex is run by a doctor of American descent, raised in Korea and with Korean citizenship. (Note: at the moment, all medical personnel in Korea must be Korean citizens). The doctor’s English is excellent, but it should be understood that he is no more or less Western culturally than Korean doctors trained abroad.)
Hours: weekdays 9:30 to 11:30 AM and 2:00 to 4:30 PM and Saturdays 9:30 -11:30 AM.

Migrant Workers Hospital

Christian-based hospital established in 2004 to provide free health care to  foreign nationals (migrant workers, spouses of Korean nationals, ethnic Koreans from other countreis) who do not have Korean medical coverage. Note: If you only have Korean National Health Insurance coverage, you'll want to check if the hospital/clinic accepts it. Some of the private hospitals do not.
