Gangnam-gu Centers    

The various district offices in Seoul operate community centers that provide a number of services for the community including in some locations, swimming pools, gyms, various kinds of fitness, arts & crafts, cooking, etc. classes, rental facilities, and lots more. 

Foreign residents can use the services provided, however the information provided is generally in Korean-only. In some centers, you may find staff who can speak English and who are willing to explain what's on offer. Classes will be conducted in Korean.

Access to a number of city programe are also available through the district community centers.

GANGNAM-GU COMMUNITY CENTER
(Korean: Gangnam-gu Goomin HoeGwan 강남구 구민 문화회관)
Location: 509-2 Daechi 2-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Direction: exit 6 of Daechi station 345 - walk straight and it is on your left 

Facilities:
B4, B3, B2 – Parking Place
B1 - Parking Place , Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, Sports Class
F1 – Information desk / Exhibition room / Children’s House / Ganganam Women’s Development Center Branch
F2 – Theater (516 Seats)
F3 – Theater / Control office
F4 – Council of Gangnam District
F5 - Council of Gangnam District / Conference Room

Programs: Dance, Dance Sports, Aerobics, Charming Disco, Yoga, Music, Folk Songs, etc

GANGNAM-GU SPORTS/CULTURE CENTER
(Korean: Gangnam-gu Sports Moonhwa Center 강남구 스포츠 문화 센터)
Location: 718 Suseo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Directions: Exit gate 3 of Suseo Station (stop 349) and walk about a minute towards the Suseo-dong office

Facilities: Swimming Pool / Aerobics Room / Fitness Room / Golf Room / Reading Room / Cafeteria

Programs: Golf, Badminton, Swimming, Yoga, Music, T'ai Chi Ch'uan, etc
