Children's Stuff, Seoul
Children's Shoes can be found everywhere, but they may not be of the quality or style sold in your home country. The discount and high end department stores all stock children's shoes, including some foreign brands. There is also a 'shoe alley' in Dongdaemun.
Children’s toys can be found all over – in department and discount stores, in most markets, and even in Itaewon (check out the underground and the Hamilton malls) and the Express Bus Terminal. Specialty brand stores (Disney, etc) can be found in many shopping areas especially places like Apgujeong-dong. The prices, however, can be higher than you might pay in your home country. Educational toys, on the other hand, can be difficult to locate.
Some places where you can find toys:
Dongdaemun Market – there’s a toy and stationary alley in the market where you can find toys and trinkets for birthday parties.
Hamilton Shopping Center in Itaewon – some vendors sell toys, but selections are limited.
Discount Stores such as E-Mart, Lotte Mart, Home Plus, Costco, etc.
Department Stores such as Shinsegae, Lotte, Hyundai, New Core, etc.

It’s also possible to find ‘previously loved’ toys in recycling centers operated by the gu-offices, Second Hand Rose (on the U.S. Military Base in Yongsan) and the Beautiful Stores around the city. Click here, for more info.
