Usamania International Restaurant specialises in Pakistan, Indian and Arabic Halal Food.

Our restaurant offers you the the ambiance, atmosphere and flavors that make a visit to the Usmania region in Pakistan so memorable.  Not only do we offer mutton and tandoori items, we are also one of the best options in Itaewon for vegetarians.

Contrary to popular belief, Pakistan and Indian food is not and does not have to be spiced overly hot to be enjoyed. In fact, the art in Pakistan cookery lies in the delicacy of the spicing. In order to be able to satisfy all our patrons, we offer different levels of spicing for almost all of the items on our menu.  Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be pleased to familiarize you with the various levels of spicing and to assist you in your selection.

Here is a suggestion we think will enhance your food experience at Usmania and make it more adventurous and, hopefully, more enjoyable too. There is no way around it, Pakistani food tastes best when eaten with your fingers. There is a tactile dimension added to the eating process. Besides, Indian food is designed to be eaten by hand. Breads are to be torn and wrapped around foods, Rice (not necessary to eat with fingers) is customarily blended ith curries so each mouthful is unique. If you eat off of a banana leaf(which by the way is still possible in many places in Pakistan) trying to use a knife and fork would shred your plate.  Eating with your fingers is a cultural experience everyone should experience while visiting a Pakistani restaurant. We will be pleased to provide finger bowls and or wet naps in order cleanup after your meal.

We offer take out or will arrange taxi delivery for you. They also offer take out and can arrange delievery with a taxi service.

How to find us:
From Exit #1 of the Itaewon subway station (stop 630) go straight to the the 1st lane, which is right next to KFC. Turn right and walk up the lane (a one-minute or less walk). Just before you have to turn left, you'll see a stairs. Go up into the building and go up to the 3rd Floor.

Our wait staff speak English, so don't hesitate to telephone us to place a pick up or delivery order, or for directions.
