Happy Point Card - Coffee Shops, etc.

Happy Point Card - Coffee ...

Several chain stores accept a card called Happy Point Card. These include: CAFFE PASCUCCI, DUNKIN DONUTS, PARIS CROISSANT, PARIS BAGUETTE, LINA’S, SANUKI BORE, TAMATI.

Eligibility: Resident with Alien Registration Number.
How to Apply for the card: You can ask for a card in any one of the participating shop if you’ve made a purchase of over W1,000. You must then register your membership online on the happy card website. Although the site is in Korean only, foreign nationals with an ARC can become a member.
How to earn and use POINTS: When you show your card, 5% of your total purchase is translated into points – as long as the purchase is over W1,000. Happy Point Card cannot be used with other point cards.

Benefits:
Pay for purchases with points rather than cash.
Use points to purchase at the shops

STAMP CARDS: Many coffee shops and other chains have their own local stamp card as well. Some are recognised in all shops, while others are area or shop specific. Some will have cards for food items only or for drinks only, etc. Each time you make a purchase, your card will be stamped. Once you have the required number of stamps, you will receive a free 'something' from the shop's menu.
