Getting there: Take bus 11, 11-2 or 125 at Hanyang University at Ansan station on subway line 4 (stop 449) / Take bus 11, 11-2, 76, 99-1, 99-2 or 125 at Sangnoksu station on subway line 4 (stop 448) / take bus 11 or 11-2 at exit 4 of Suwon station on subway line 1 (stop P155).

BCJ (Byeokchoji) Botanical Garden - Paju

Getting there:  At Samseong Station on subway line 2 (stop 219) go out Exit 8. Cross the large intersection 80m ahead. Take Bus 703, and get off at Gwangtan Samgeori (3-way Intersection) Bus Stop. Transfer to Bus 15 or 67 and get off at Domasan Elementary School Bus Stop. BCJ Gardne is located across the street.

Garden of Morning Calm – Gapyeong-gun

Getting there:
1. Bus:  Sangbong Intercity Bus Terminal or Dong Seoul Bus Terminal- Get off at Cheongpyeong Bus Terminal- Take a bus or a taxi to the garden.
* Cheongnyang-ri Station- Take Bus No. 1330 and get off at Cheongpyeong- Take a bus or a taxi to the garden
2. Train: From Cheongnyang-ri Station, take a train bound for Chuncheon and get off at Cheongpyeong Station (1 hour ride). Then take a taxi (~30 min) or rent a car.

Hantaek Botanical Garden - Oksan

Description: Largest botanical garden in Korea, covering 600 square kilometers

Getting there: Take a bus from Nambu Bus Terminal to Baekam Terminal and take bus no10-4 to the Hantaek Botanical Garden
6. short description of the place: The Hantaek Botanical Garden in Yongin, Gyeonggi is the largest botanical garden in the country, covering 600 square kilometers including the 230-square-kilometer East Garden, which is open to the public. Because of the size, visits need to be carefully planned.

Haeyeorim Botanical Gardens  - Yeoju-gun

Description: Features include Cheonyeonji Pond (lotus flowers), Dongeuibogam Garden (medicinal herbs) and Haeyeorim Observatory, offering a bird’s-eye view of the garden.

Getting there: From Gangbyeon Station, subway line 2 (stop 214) Exit 1. Take Bus 1113-1 and get off at Gonjiam Terminal. (곤지암터미널). Or, from Jamsil Subway Station  (stop 216)  Exit 6.  Take Bus 500-1 and get off at Gonjiam Terminal.From Gonjiam Terminal, take a local bus bound for Yangpyeong.
Get off at Sangpum-ri Samgeori (3-way intersection) Bus Stop.

Pocheon View Garden - Pocheon

Description: Korea’s first ‘agricultural scenic garden’.
Hours: April-November 09:00 ~ 18:00
Admission: Adult W4,000 / Child W3,000
Getting there: Take a bus to Wasu-ri or Seochang-ri at the Dong Seoul Terminal, (takes about one hour). Get off at Il-dong and take a bus that goes to Yudong-ri (entrance of the garden) – Bus no. 5, 7, or 66-1 which takes 5 minutes.

Pyunggang Botanical Garden  - Pocheon

Description: Exhibits both native plants and around 5,000 species of plants from across the globe. The garden is divided into 12 themed areas,

Getting there:  From Seoul, take a bus to Pocheon or Uncheon from the Dong Seoul. Terminal and get off at Uncheon. (takes about 2 hours) or from Uijeongbu, take a bus to Pocheon or Uncheon from the Uijeongbu Terminal and get off at Uncheon. (Takes about 70 minutes. )
In Uncheon, take bus 71 that runs from Uncheon to Sanjeong Lake and get off at the entrance of Jeonghang-dong (Umulmok). There is no public transportation for 2 kilometers from the entrance of Jeonghang-dong to the Pyunggang Botanical Garden; it’s about a 30 minute walk or take a taxi at Uncheon.

Semiwon   - Yangpyeong

Seoul Grand Park  Botanical Garden - Gwacheon

Getting there: Exit #1 of Seoul Grand Park Station, subway line 4 (stop 437). Walk 400m and turn right at the Seoul Land Information Desk.  Walk 600m along the Gwacheon Reservoir,  past the zoo and continue straight for 300m.
