Boating-Rowing
Although somewhat limited, there are boating options in Korea.
Dragon Boating (paddling) is available all over the country. You can join a team or watch the races. The Summer Hi Seoul Festival features a Dragon Boat race and there are both internaitonal and local competitions around the country including Seoul and Ulsan.
For further information on dragon boat, visit the Korean Dragon Boat Associationm (KDBA) website: www.kdba.or.kr (English available). The KDBA is an official government-recognized organization dedicated to providing programs and organizing events to help better inform Korean people and to let them participate in the exciting world of dragon boat racing. The KDBA was formed in August 1999, becoming the 13th member of Asian Dragon Boat Association, representing Korea. You can also contact them at 02-3285-3369 (English is not available however) or via kdba@kdba.or.kr
Sailing: There are also some Yacht Clubs in Korea (Seoul and Busan included) where you can hire a sail boat or arrange for a group sail.
