Following are some of the hundreds of Art Galleries one can find in Seoul. Some of these charge admission, while others do not. Some exhibit art works while others offer them for sale. The same gallery may do one or the other depending on the exhibition. GALLERY 101 – Daechi-dong

Directions: Go out Exit #4 of Samseong Station (stop 219 line 2- green). As you come out, you'll see a glass building - next to it is the Superior Building. The Gallery is located in the Superior Building on B1.

GALLERY HYUNDAI -  Gangnam Space (also space in Jongno)
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10a.m. to 6p.m.
Closed Mondays, New Year's Day, Lunar New Year's Day and Chuseok Day
Admission is usually free.

HORIM ART CENTER – Sinsa-dong
Hours:  10:30am to 6pm Monday thru Saturday; open to 8pm on Wednesdays
Tours: Guided tours offered at 11:00 and 15:00 (in Korean only) English Audio available during regular hours.
Admission: W5,000 to W8,000 - Free admission on the last Thursday of each month

Directions::
Take Subway Line 3 to Sinsa Station (Stn 337). Come out at exit #1. - Take bus number 145 or 4212 to Young Dong Fire Station. Cross the street and you see the Horim Art Center.

The Horim Art Center, located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District, in southern Seoul, is a branch of the Horim Museum, one of the country’s three major private museums. The art center is a site in itself, surrounded by concrete layers that make it look like a lotus in full bloom. It is part of a 15-story office building that looks like upside-down earthenware, which has made it a landmark. The tower has a metallic dark brown tone and slit windows. To enter the Horim Art Center, visitors go through a dark corridor with tiny lights sparkling on the ceiling.
