My boss only gave me less than one month's salary when my contract ended? What can I do.
You are entitled to the full one month pay at the end of your 12-month contract. (Note that in 2011 this '13th month' /severance pay will stop). In the interim, you may want to contact a labour lawyer and have her/him follow-up with your employers. Usually, it only takes a phone call to clear up the 'misunderstanding'.
You can make arrangements for a lawyer whether you are in Korea or have already left. Lawyers will give you a free consultation for about 30 minutes.
