Why can't I, as a tourist, order theatre or movie tickets on line? The site is in English but it won't accept my order.
The Korea system requires that one gives one's ID number to access websites, order tickets, etc. and you're right, it does limit access to Korean citizens (an eventually, foreign residents if/when they fix the number glitch that prevents foreign residents from ordering on-line). If you feel that this is something that should be changed, you can contact Seoul Metropolitan Government through the SHC for foreigners via 797-8212 or hotline@seoul.go.kr.
