When I take a taxi, where should I sit, in front or in back? Is it O.K. to sit next to the driver?
It's entirely up to you. Three are no rules as to where a passenger should sit. However, if you sit in the front seat, the law requires that you wear a seat belt. There is no such requirement for passenger seated in the back, although you may want to buckle up anyway (seat belts should be available, but sometimes they are not).
