Why should I always get a taxi receipt?
Taxi receipts contain information that will help you if you have forgotten something in the cab or if there has been a problem with the driver and you were not able to get his/her ID information. Receipt information includes the taxi registration and car numbers, the distance you travelled, the time the meter started and the time it stopped, the date, and the driver's cell phone number (sometimes the only number given is a landline number and occasionally there is no number, but the rest of the info in there).
