What's the difference between the grey and black and orange taxies in Seoul?

The grey, regular taxies, are less expensive and a little less spacious. The black deluxe taxies are twice as expensive and a little more comfortable. You have as much chance of having an English-speaking driver in one or the other.

The orange taxi were created to be 'foreigners' taxis and can cost up to 20% more if reserved in advance. The rate is the same as the 'grey' taxi when flagged on the street, however. Operators are supposed to be English/Japanese speaking. Recently, the orange taxis are no longer 'foreigner taxis' since the city of Seoul is gradually creating an 'organge' taxi fleet (similar to New York City's Yellow cabs).
