How can I find the police station nearest to my home?
Probably the easiest way is to ask your realtor or your landlady/landlord.
And, there's always the Internet!
The Korean National Police Agency has an English website, www.police.go.kr/eng. To find the local offices, click on About KNPA, then scroll over to Organization and click on :Affiliated Institutes directly Controlled by National Police Agency. You will see a list of the National Police Agency offices accross the country. However, there are no addresses. You can click on the particular station and it will take you to that specific station’s website, which is in Korean only. If you click on Location you’ll get a map for the central headquarters in Seoul as well as the contact details.
An even simpler way is to call the KTO Helpline (02-1330 in Seoul) and ask. For a list of specific 1330 helplines around the country or click on Visiting Korea tab then on Travel
