Are there any reasonably priced parking lots in the downtown (City Hall) area where one can occasionally park a car for the day?
Here are some possibilities: 1. The underground parking lot on the southeast corner of Gyeongbokgung (Gyeongbok Palace) is a good option. You drive into the palace grounds on that corner (across from Seoul Selection). 2. The parking lot at Anguk station (near the police buildings) is more expensive and crowded. It's on the south side of the street very near Insadong. 3. You can also park in the underground Kyobo Building Garage and if you have a receipt from the bookstore, it’s possible to get a discount on the somewhat high fees. Check with the Information desk at the bookstore for more info (show them your parking card and your receipt).
