Why do Koreans wrap pieces of meat in lettuce or other leafy greens?
Koreans like to balance and mix flavours. When one places a piece of meat on a leaf (or a combination of 2-3 different greens) and adding the condiments one chooses, one gets the mix of flavours one wants in each and every bite.
