I understand that there are complicated drinking rules in Korea?
Traditionally, a number of etiquette rules were applied to drinking in Korea. Although many of the rules are not followed as strictly as in the past, many are still quite common. Moreover, non-Koreans are not expected to adhere to all the rules.
Korea is reputed to be a hard-drinking nation. However, things have been changing in recent years.
